DAY 1 : YANGON / KYAIKTHYO (Lunch,Dinner)

Morning  departure  for  Kinpun  Mountain.  To  start  the  ascent  of  the  plateau,  approach  is  done  in  an uncovered  truck.  The  last  4  kilometers  are  on  foot.  Healthy  physical  condition  is  necessary.  However it’s possible to reach the site on a palanquin (which has to be paid on the spot). Site visit till sunset. The Golden Rock offers a splendid panoramic view

DAY 2: KYAIKHTIYO >BAGO > YANGON (Breakfast,Lunch)

Morning climb to watch the sunrise on the site. Road to Bago, 13th century Burma capital. Visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda, twin sister of Yangon’s Shwedagon Pagoda, Shwethalyaung Pagoda where the greatest reclining Buddha of Myanmar is found, then the Hintagone Hill and the Buddhas of Kyaik Pun. Promenade in the market. At the end of the afternoon road to Yangon. On the way stops at the Allied Cemetery and at the banyan tree devoted to Myanmar spirits, the “Nats”.
